Our Mission
-
Bring awareness of the Western Sahara cause to Canadians and the Government of Canada, and promote a just, and lasting political solution between the Sahrawis and Morocco. A solution that will provide for the self-determination of the people of Western Sahara. A solution that would put an end to the illegal Moroccan occupation of Western Sahara.
What we do
-
Work with the Canadian Government where possible, non-governmental organizations, trade unions and human rights observers to report the human rights violations in the Occupied Territories of Western Sahara and to hold Morocco accountable under International Laws and Norms, be it Economical, Social and/or Cultural.
-
Work on preventing and stopping Canadian companies that explore and do business illegally in the Occupied Territories of Western Sahara without the consent of the Sahrawi people. Under the international law, only the Sahrawi people have the right to explore the resources in Western Sahara.
-
Organize events in Canada to bring awareness to the difficult conditions in the Refugee Camps near Tindouf/Algeria, and to the human rights violations by Morocco in the Occupied Territories of Western Sahara.
